After weighing in at 350lbs on April 26th, 2011, I decided enough was enough. I started weight watchers and began to get active. I slowly started walking, which progress into running. I fell in love with running!! This past May I completed my first ever 1/2 marathon, and also participated as part of a relay team for the Akron marathon. I loved my experience as part of the relay team, so decided to make Akron my first ever full marathon! After losing over 1/2 of me (over 180lbs) I look forward to running the streets of Akron!
I also am excited to report that I was featured in People Magazine\'s 1/2 my size edition!
