The Blue Line Charity Program

The Akron Marathon has partnered with ten local charities to assist with raising awareness and fundraising in conjunction with our newly revised Blue Line Charity Program.  Charities may receive promotional and financial support by meeting certain requirements, including number of volunteers, number of charity affiliated runners, and money raised in conjunction with the 2014 event.

Would you like to support one of our Blue Line Charities?  As a runner, volunteer, or spectator, you can support one of these organizations by running in an organization’s name, volunteering for the Akron Marathon on behalf of an organization, or fundraising for an organization.  All money raised or donated will go directly to each of the charities to assist their missions and causes.  See the FAQs below for more information on how you can become involved in the Blue Line Charity program.
