FedEx Gear Bag Service
Runners can place their extra clothing and items not needed on the race course in gear bags to be dropped off at the start or at a relay point. They will be delivered to the finish line free of charge, courtesy of FedEx Custom Critical. These gear bags will be available at the Health and Fitness Expo, Starting Line, and Relay Exchange Zones. Runners should drop their gear bags at the FedEx Gear Bag Drop Off truck/van. All gear bags will be transported to the Gear Bag Pick Up area outside of Canal Park. Gear bags will be labeled with runner’s name and bib number for identification. Items must be picked up day of race by 1:45 p.m. Any unclaimed gear bags will be returned to the marathon office and stored for two weeks. All unclaimed gear bags will be donated to charity two weeks after the marathon.
If you would rather discard your items, donation boxes will be available and all items will be donated to a local charity
