Local, regional and national vendors are welcome to exhibit at The University of Akron Health and Fitness Expo on Friday, September 26, 2008.

This one-day health and fitness expo reaches not only the runners, but the greater Akron community.

Last year more than 13,000 people attended the expo. The expo is free and open to the public and will focus on health and fitness. In addition to serving as the distribution site for runners' packets, the expo will also be an informational site for event questions.

Expo vendors will be offered:

• Listing on the Road Runner Akron Marathon website
• Listing in the event guide
• Break area with refreshments
• Volunteer relief at your booth if requested
• PA announcements regarding your services and booth location

All runners must come to the Expo to pick up their race information, timing chip and race bib. Traffic flow through the Expo will be designed to ensure that all attendees will pass by your booth. All booths will be in high traffic and visible locations. Special arrangements have been made with our local television, radio and newspaper partners to promote the Expo to the general public a few weeks prior and during the Expo.

Exhibitors will be provided a 10' by 10' booth which includes: a sign identifying your company, pipe and drape dividers, an 8' draped table, trash can and two chairs. Additional charges will apply for electricity, phone lines, freight and additional furniture (see registration form). Non-profit organizations are offered a special reduced rate.

We encourage you to reply early to guarantee your spot, as we anticipate many returning vendors. We are providing a loyalty discount for early registration of past vendors who register by July 9, 2008 and pre-pay booth fees. After July 9, regular pricing will apply through August 17, 2008. After the August 17 deadline, additional requests will be charged an additional fee of $50 per booth, with no guarantee to be included in promotional print pieces and advertising. Payment for booth(s) rented must be made in full by August 17, 2008, to confirm your reservation. We encourage you to reply early to guarantee your spot, as we anticipate many returning vendors.
