The Road Runner Akron Marathon Needs Volunteers!
In fact, from now to Race Day, we need more than 3,000 volunteers to help make this Road Runner Akron Marathon a world-class event and a great success for the runners, their families, the spectators and for the City of Akron.

Everyone is welcome to help - whether you are a runner or have no experience with marathons. What matters is being willing to give any amount of time that you can spare to help make this event even more of a success and show the world that the City of Akron is a great host.

Individuals or Families: If you can spare a little, some, or a lot of time -- help us make the Road Runner Akron Marathon another success.

Groups: If you belong to an organization that can work as a team, help us on special projects throughout the year, during the final pre-race preparation, on race day and post race as well.

Companies: We can use your help in providing individual or teams of volunteers. We are also seeking companies who will donate products or services to be given to volunteers as well as runners in the Runner Goodie Bags. We'll be sure your company gets recognized for its contribution.
