CORPORATE CHALLENGE AWARDS

Participation Awards  

Companies with the highest percentage of participants win a custom award. All employees must have a finishing time for their participation to be included in the final results. 

 There are six divisions based on company size: 

  •  X-Small Company (5 – 44 employees) 
  • Small Company (45 – 99 employees) 
  • Medium Company (100 – 199 employees) 
  • Large Company (200 – 649 employees) 
  • X-Large Company (650 – 1,499 employees) 
  • XX-Large Company (1,500+ employees)

Fastest Corporate Relay Team Award 

  • Men’s 
  • Women’s 
  • Mixed 

Spirit Award 

  • Show your company pride and participation through social media posts using #RunAkronCorporateChallenge #TeamName 
  • 30 points for submitting a Team Hype Video 
  • 50 points for winning the Hype Video contest 
  • 1 point for every social media post using the program hashtags (#RunAkronCorporateChallenge #TeamName) between June 1 and October 1, 2023 

Extra Mile Awards 

  • Most dollars raised for charity through Akron Marathon’s charity partner platform  
  • Most volunteers recruited through Akron Marathon’s volunteer platform
