Blossom M. Heindel, D.O., graduated medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at Summa Health System – Akron Campus and her primary care sports medicine fellowship at Akron Children’s Hospital. As part of her training, Dr. Heindel served as team physician for Woodridge High School, Walsh University, and The University of Akron. She is currently team physician/medical staff for Manchester High School, the Akron RubberDucks, and the Akron Marathon Race Series, as well as practices family medicine and primary care sports medicine for Summa Health Medical Group. A former competitive distance runner, Dr. Heindel still enjoys running and getting outdoors with her husband and two children.
