A: The Akron Marathon Race Series presented by Summa Health was designed to coincide with training benchmarks leading up to our marquee race in September. The series will include events on June 28 & 29, August 10, & September 28 and each event will include the same first-class treatment you have come to expect from the Akron Marathon over the past 20 years.

A: Yes, all series finishers will receive a commemorative Akron Marathon Race Series presented by Summa Health medal and a series medal rack.

A: Friday, June 28, 2024 – National Interstate 1 Mile
Saturday, June 29, 2024 – National Interstate 8k
Saturday, August 10, 2024 – Goodyear Half Marathon and 10k
Friday, September 27, 2024 – Kids Fun Run
Saturday, September 28, 2024 – Marathon, Half Marathon, Team Relay
Q: Is there a minimum age requirement?
A: The minimum age varies by race.
1 Mile Stroller Division – 4 and under
1 Mile – 5 years old
8k – 10 years old
10k – 10 years old
Half Marathon – 14 years old
Marathon – 16 years old
Team Relay – 12 years old
Q: After registering will I receive additional information?
A: Yes, we will send emails leading up to each event with additional information to help you get ready. Final instructions are sent 2-weeks prior to the race via email and are also posted on the website. When registering, please provide your primary email address.

A: Did you purchase registration insurance? If so, use this link to file a claim with the registration insurance company.
If not, we have a no refund or deferment policy.
