Running2bwell, a local nonprofit that helps individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues improve their lives through regular exercise and healthier life choices, is honored to host a premiere of the critically acclaimed documentary, 26.2 to Life, at the historic Akron Civic Theater on Sunday, January 14.

The Akron Marathon Charitable Corporation is a presenting sponsor of this event.

The film documents a running program at the San Quentin prison, similar to what our mentors bring to the inmates at the Grafton Correctional Institute here in Northeast Ohio. Join us for the film at 3:00pm and stay for a panel discussion with Markelle Taylor, a former inmate and program participant, as well as others from our local running community and Running2bwell organization about the transformative power of exercise. There will be light refreshments served after.
